An illustrated children’s parable project by writer Stephen Hadwin, exploring emotion, connection, identity and meaning through the relationship between two symbolic characters, Logi and Aku. Told with warmth, simplicity and layered storytelling, the project is designed to speak differently to both children and adults.

Yes! I am currently accepting new projects. Availability may vary depending on the scope, so it’s best to reach out with details early.

02. Do you work directly with publishers, agents, and art directors or only through representation?

I work directly with authors, publishers, agents and art directors. I prefer direct collaboration to maintain clear communication and ensure the vision is realized accurately.

03. Are you open to long-term collaborations?

Absolutely! I enjoy building ongoing relationships with clients, especially on a series or a multi-project collaboration.

04. How far in advance should we contact you about a book or larger project?

Ideally, 3–6 months before the intended deadline. This allows enough time for concept development, revisions and final artwork.

05. What is the typical timeline for a 30-page picture book from brief to final artwork?

For a 30-page book, the process usually takes 5-12 months. This includes concept sketches, revisions, final illustrations and delivery. Timelines may vary based on complexity and client feedback.

06. Do you accept rush projects?

Rush projects can be considered depending on my schedule, but additional fees may apply. It’s best to discuss this when contacting me.

07. Do you offer exclusive rights for publishers, and under what terms?

Yes, exclusive rights can be arranged for publishers. Terms and pricing depend on the project scope, usage and distribution.

08. In which file formats and color profiles do you deliver final artwork?

Final artwork is delivered in high-resolution formats, typically PDF, TIFF or PNG with RGB or CMYK color profiles, as requested by the client.

09. Can you adapt your files to our production requirements?

Yes! I can adjust file formats, sizes and color profiles to meet your production needs.
